Okay this is my attempt at getting caught up on my blog from the last year and half. It's my new goal to blog at least once a month, wish me luck. Lot's of picture's to follow and not in great order but I did my best so hopefully you can follow.

I can't believe my baby is 4!

In August we celebrated Jentry turning 4 years old and also the start of another school year. Which usually is a great thing, the kids are ready to go back and I'm ready for them to go back. But the start of the school year took on a whole new meaning this year as that meant I would

be going back to work. I took a job last April as a para for a boy named Nathan that has Cerebral Palsy. It's a great job and I really do enjoy it!

In late June we headed off on a month long vacation. First we went to Vegas for over a week, then spent a week at our timeshare in Mesquite, NV, then off to Grandma Lisa's in Utah for a week and then Wyoming for our family reunion. It was a long month to say the least but we had fun.

Well June we got to celebrate Lacey's 6th birthday. We had a Bratz party. We watched the "really people" Bratz movie, ate, painted nails and did make up. The girls had so much fun!

I think this was why I was putting off blogging because I didn't want to blog about this. May was actually very exciting we found out we were pregnant. We had been trying for over a year so we were thrilled. But then I had my monthly check up at 15 weeks and they couldn't find the heartbeat, did an ultrasound and found that there in fact was no heartbeat and that the baby had stopped growing at 13 weeks. I was devestated to say the least. I don't think I have ever cried so hard. So 2 days later was did a D & C to remove the pregnancy. I'm doing much better now. I have had 2 misscarriages before but they were around 6-8 weeks and I pretty much knew from the beginning that something wasn't right and dealt with it so much better. We are moving on and hopefully will get pregnant again soon!

Well Jeremy just took a trip to Vegas in Feb. for The World of Concrete, then he had to go back for a class on concrete contertops. So I told him I get to go this time. I'm so glad we have wonderful friends here that were willing to help out with the girls so that I was able to go. I had a wonderful week enjoying old friends, eating yummy food, manicure and pedicure, shopping and oh yeah more shopping. Thanks Erin for putting up with me all week and being my taxi, love ya! We missed the girls a ton but the break was much needed, now back to the real world. Okay that was alot to post, not that I think anyone wants to read it but it helps me to remember. So hopefully it won't be another 6 months til I post again, wish me luck!

The end of December we headed to Lehi, UT to have Aubrey's baptism there. I can't believe was have an 8 year old already, man that makes me feel old. It was on the 2nd of Jan. It was such a special day. We are so grateful to those who were able to make the trip and be there. Aubrey is such a sweet, special girl with a beautiful testimony of the gospel. We are so thankful she is part of our family. We love you Aubrey!

After we got home we had her birthday party we went and saw Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 we had 13 kids including ours. It was a cute movie and Aubrey had a great party.

Aubrey was the lead in her school christmas play and even had a solo, she did amazing!

What can I say? I absolutely love Christmas!! We stayed in town and had the Burke's, the Fisher's and the missionaries over for dinner Christmas Eve. I planned a little program sining songs, acting out the Nativity, and writing down our gift to Jesus for the year and putting it in a white stocking, the kids loved it. We opened our christmas eve jammies, put out cookies and waited for santa's arrival. We opened presents Christmas morning, had omlet's and monkey bread for breakfast then watched the parade. The excitment for the girls was getting the first american girl dolls. Later that day we attempted our Christmas Day movie but due to the blizzard the theater was closed but the bowling alley was open so off we went. Then we had our traditional dinner, out for Chinese and it was yummy.

In November, to our families dismay, we decided to go to Minneapolis for Thanksgiving with our friends the Fishers. We got there Wednesday night. On Thursday, Thanksgiving, we went and did our annual Thanksgiving Day movie and saw Planet 51 and then headed to Perkins for a turkey dinner :) I enjoyed not having to cook or clean anything up. Then Black Friday which was the next day, (and I must say one of my favorite days of the year) started at 11:00pm the night before at Toys R Us. Then we came back slept til 3:00 and headed out for the rest of the day to shop. That night we went and saw a christmas parade that they do through downtown, it was pretty cute and the kids loved it. Saturday was reserved for Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America. We had a blast!! Then Sunday, we checked out of the hotel and dropped the guys off at the Chicago Bears vs. Minneapolis Vikings, and headed back to the mall. We did a little more shopping and took the kids to see Old Dogs. We had a wonderful time we had!! We can't wait to go back.

Time to get caught up and stay that way!

Well our last post was in September. It's been a long past six months with many ups and downs. In October I headed with the girls to Jeremy's sister Chelsea's wedding in Las Vegas(Jeremy flew in later). On Friday the 23rd I got a call from my brother Jerod, telling me that my other brother Kimble, who was serving in the army, in Afghanistan, was killed by an IED. It was a horrible day. Kimble was 2 years older then me and we have always been close. Our week trip to Chelsea's wedding turned into 2 1/2 weeks after heading to my moms in Lehi, UT. It was a beautiful wedding but an emotional roller coaster trying to deal with both. We miss him alot but I am so thankful for my Heavenly Father's plan. I know we will be with him again and that he is in a better place, I'm excited for that day when we will be reunited. We miss and love you Kimble and will always remeber the Hero that you are and the ultimate sacrifce that you made for all of us!!

Camping!!

We had a ton of turkey's in our campgroud, there where like 10 right there but they were everywhere also.

For Labor Day this year we decided to take a family trip to Mt. Rushmore. We went camping at a great little camp ground Kemps Kamp in Keystone, South Dakota it was a great location. We went with 2 other families and had so much fun. We left friday and got there around 7:00 we got our camp ground all set up and headed out for Mexican food that night for dinner. Saturday we headed to Mt. Rushmore which was only 10 minutes away. It was really awesome. Then headed back to camp for lunch and a little swimming. When everyone was rested and feed we headed over to the Alpine slide. It's a huge slide that you take a tram up to and slide down on a sled type thing, so fun, the kids had a blast, so did the adults. Then back to camp for taco salad. Sunday we had breakfast burritos for breakfast before we went to the wind caves, it's the 4th longest cave in the world. It was really cool but I did get a little claustrophobic(sp). Then we drove by Crazy Horse. Then we visited The Flinstones Amusement Park for lunch it was a really cute place. Then headed back to camp to get ready for the lighting ceremony at Mt. Rushmore. They have a whole program and it made me a little emotional, very neat. Then headed back for hamburgers and hot dogs for a late dinner. Monday we got all packed up and went to Cosmos Mystery area. Some say its a hoax but we thought it was entertaining and I'm a believer! We then headed to our last stop before heading home, Story Book Island. The kids had a ball. It was a huge park with story book characters and lot's of toys to play on and a little train ride too. We had a great time and are looking to more family trips that aren't just to visit family. Family's great but these other trips are great too. We are looking forward to our trip to Vegas in October and then to Minneapolis in November. Mall of America here we come, oh and Chicago Bears game too!

Lacey turned 5 in our 5th wheel.

So we made it to Dickinson, North Dakota. We got here on May 31st. We couldn't find a house to rent so we lived in a 5th wheel trailer for 4 weeks and some friends in the ward let us house sit for them for 2 weeks til we finally found a house to move into on July 15th. We have a great little branch here with great people. We had snow in June and a tornado in July. I guess it keeps life interesting. We are getting settled and getting the girls ready to start school on the 26th. Aubrey will start 2nd grade and Lacey will go to kindergarten which is all day which I have mixed emotions about. They are so excited and counting the days til it's time. We have great friends here already and so far are enjoying our time here. I'll report about that again later when the weather is snowy and 40 degrees below. So there's my update for now I promise to do the next one sooner!

Well it looks like Jeremy's job will be taking us to North Dakota. This will for sure be an adjustment. We are not too excited about the move but are grateful that Jeremy still has a job. He will be leaving next Wednesday. The girls and I will wait for Aubrey to get out of school in June, then probably stay with my mom for the summer so that we can go to our family reunion and my class reunion. Well wish us luck and keep us in your prayers. It will be an adventure!!

We just got back on Sunday from our cruise to Mexico. We went to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo. We had an amazing time eating lot's of yummy food, laying in the sun, swimming, playing games and eating more. It was so much fun but we are happy to be home with our girls ,who we missed so much, and to be back in our beds!!

So finally I think I have caught up on my blog! Not much has gone on so that's why there are only 2 new ones(3 including this :) I've decided I need to take more pictures.
Anyways we are just getting ready to go on our cruise. We leave for the Mexican Riviera on Saturday. We are going with our friends The Avila's who we have been friends with from pre-kids. We love them and always have a great time with them! We are so excited and can't wait!! I will have lot's of picture's to post of that when we get back, so stay tuned and I promise it won't be 2 months til my next post, what a slacker I am!!

And these gloves have the same beaded crochet my girls love theirs, that's why they look a little old cause they love to wear them.

She also crocheted these cute hates for them. I love them and so do the girls!

These are just some of the things my wonderful Mom (or as Jentry calls her "Grandma Eesa") has made the girls. She is so amazingly talented and we love her so much. Thanks for all the fun stuff Grandma. Also she is making pettiskirts for them for there Easter "dresses". I am so excited they are the cutest things ever. You may think we were crazy and at first I thought we were too but it was actually the cheapest, easiest birthday I've ever done :) I can't believe Aubrey is seven already and will be baptized next year, but let's not think about that. She is a great little girl so smart and such a good helper to me. We love you Aubrey!!

I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot. From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.

Okay now that I am done working, the holidays are over, and we are back in town, I guess now I need to update my blog. So over the holidays I worked at Costco which was my first job in seven years. It was fun but hard too. We had a great, quick trip to Lehi, Utah for Thanksgiving with my mom. We spent Christmas at home in Boise. Then headed to Las Vegas for New Years. We got to see friends and family, went to a baptism, and ate lot's of yummy food. That town has the best restaurants ever!(thanks Jammie and Danielle) We are glad to be home, finally have all the christmas decorations down, be unpacked from our trip, and laundry done. Now we are potty training, got a new dog(not to excited), planning bunco for friday and Aubrey's birthday party on Saturday. I guess it never really ends, does it!

Last Saturday we decided we were going to go feed the ducks downtown. So we loaded up the girls, got some bread and headed to the park. Come to find out your not allowed to feed the ducks. We had to sneak to a smaller park so that we could accomplish or goal without getting into trouble. Then we went to this Nature Center downtown that was so neat and FREE!(I'm all about free) Then off to the park. We had a great day and it was sunny and beautiful.

We went out to the factory outlet stores because they were doing trick or treating all day and Aubrey didn't have any school, so the girls got to wear two different costumes this year cause I didn't want them to ruin there real ones for the night. Aubrey is Alice in Wonderland, Lacey is Jasmine, and Jentry is Tinkerbelle.

We went to the pumpkin patch and corn maze on Saturday. We have never gone through the corn maze and with three little girls I don't know if it was the best idea. "I'm tired", "I'm hungry", "I have to go potty", "I'm scared", just a few of the constant complaints of our two hours trying to escape the maze. We still had fun and I'm sure will do it in the years to come.

Last friday Jeremy decided that we were going to set up the tent in the backyard and go camping. We had tin foil dinners, a camp fire, smores and read stories. Both Aubrey and Lacey fell asleep but Jentry would not go to sleep so I had to bring her inside, what a stinker but a good excuse for me to not have to sleep out in the freezing cold. The girls loved it, we all had a blast.

Fall walk and stuff

Last week Aubrey had Thursday and Friday off and for her class she had to take a fall walk, collect leaves and make a book. It was a perfect fall day and the girls had so much fun. Here are some pictures from that.
We also went to a 50th birthday for our friend Lori. She celebrated it with another one of her friends who turned 50. Lori is white and she is black so they did an ebony and ivory theme. It was alot of fun. We got dressed up in black and white, ate great food and even did karaoke. We had a blast!

Also update on Lacey's eyes. We took her to the doctor this last Saturday and come to find out she is very farsighted, worse than Jeremy. So we ordered her two pair of glasses that she will have to wear all the time. They look pretty dang cute on her and she is super excited. They should be here in the next couple days, so I will post picture's then.

Cheer Camp

Last week Aubrey went to a Cheer Camp for three days, then performed at half time at the football game on Friday. She had so much fun! She was so cute and tried so hard to remember all the steps. She did great. She told me she is going to be a cheerleader one day! We taped it but I can't get it to load, I will try later when Jeremy can help :). Here are some picture's for now.

We went and got Jentry's picture's taken today. I am so glad she is two, now I don't have to do her picture's again until she is three. I started with Aubrey doing picture's at 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 months and 2, 3 years and so on, so now I have to do it with all of them. Done til Christmas!! :)

Funny Lacey

Okay so yesterday we were going visiting teaching. We walked up to the door and the lady we were visiting had this little neighborhood watch sticker on her door. Lacey saw it and says, "Oh good no vampires can go in there." It was so cute, I started cracking up she just stared at me like, "What?" No more twilight series for me, it's rubbing off on the kids ;)

Aubrey started first grade today. We were so sad and happy, sad for us and happy for her. She was so ready to go back to school and will be such a great asset to her new class. We love her so much and will miss her while she is away from us each day!!

Sunday Curls!!

So when I was little my mom used to always put the sponge rollers in our hair saturday night after bath, so that on Sunday we would have these gorgeous curls in the morning. Well we tried it out last weekend. It was so funny they looked like Shirley Temple. Lacey loved it but Aubrey hated it and I had to wet her hair down quite a bit for her to even go to church. I don't know that we will be doing that again. Here are the before and after pictures. Also we are at church Sunday, having the Sacrament prayer, Jentry is on my lap being very reverent, it gets over and she says Amen. Well she looks over at Jeremy and sees he is not opening his eyes so she starts yelling at him "Daddy Amen, Daddy Amen, Daddy Amen." It was so funny. She was very worried he didn't know that prayer was over, so cute!!

I can't believe Jentry is already 2 years old. She is such a precious sweet little girl. She loves babies, reading books, swimming, and whatever her big sisters are doing. We celebrated her birthday at Jeremy's sisters we had dinner, presents, and cake and ice cream. It was little and easy, I have to take advantage of being able to do it that way, cause it all changes so soon!! We just love our little Mae Mae and thank Heavenly Father for her daily that she was sent to our home!

We went to the fair last week and Corbin Bleu was performing so we had to go to his concert(according to the girls). We were very close to the stage and the girls absolutely loved it, I have to admit Jeremy and I enjoyed it as well.

We went to my family reunion this past week in Brookings, Oregon. We had a great time! We went to the Redwoods, went to the river, went to the beach, got to see lot's of family, had a talent show, and ate way to much. I can't wait to see everyone again!! We did need to sleep for about a week when we got home and the girls are finally back on there schedule and time zone. We are so thankful for our wonderful family, we love and miss you all already!!!!

So tonight our home teachers came over and they held up a picture of the prophet and asked them if they knew what and who he was. Aubrey replied the prophet, President Monson. Then the article they were sharing was written by President Uchtdorf and had a photo of him. They asked them if they knew who he was. They didn't so I tried to whisper it to Aubrey, well Lacey thought she heard and yelled out "Goofdork!" We got a pretty good laugh. We never know what Lacey will say next. We sure love her!!

We went with some friends up to there cabin in McCall, ID about 2 1/2 hours away. We had a great time. We went swimming in the lake, went on the boat, did some fireworks, ate, and ate some more. The girls had so much fun, but needed to sleep for about two days when we got home because they missed so much. The misquitos were ginormous! I think lacey may be allergic to them, that is the swelling on her face in one of the pictures. They have a great little restraunt there it is called The Pancake House and next to it has the Christmas House so that is where those photos are from. We had a great time and enjoyed all of our family time together.

Today we finally went to Kiddie Kandids to do Lacey's 4 year old picture's. Normally I would have done it right around here birthday which was the the 4th of June(I know I am crazy), but with her cast and everything we had to wait til we got it off. Anyways, we also need to take her to the doctor to get her eyes checked because one keeps going cross when she focuses on things far away. So needless to say we were lucky we got one cute picture of her with no crossed eyes :). We love our Lacey and are so thankful that she is in our family.

I just love to be a mommy I have the best little girls ever. Since summer started we decided to do different things each day of the week. On monday we do baking so we have a treat for family night. Tuesday we have art day which is trick for me because I'm not all that artsy fartsy. Wednesday we have library day, which is great cause it's free. Thursday we are having pen pal day, we have lot's of people to keep in touch with and the girls love to get mail in return. Friday is our game day. Now when I say "day" it really only lasts about an hour if there lucky. But I am trying :) I am truly so thankful to be able to stay home and be with my girls all day. My husband is the best and I am grateful that he makes that possible for me, love you honey!!

Lacey turned 4 on the fourth so it was a busy day with Aubrey's graduation also. We had her birthday party the following saturday. It was her first friend party and she loved it. She wanted a Luau so we did limbo, pass the tiki doll(like hot potatoe), pin the tail on the donkey(yeah I know doesn't really go, but they loved it), and we had a mermaid pinata. They all had a great time and I am just glad it is all over :)

Aubrey graduated from kindergarten on June 4th, it's really crazy how time flies. She had a grat year and we really loved her school and teacher. She is a little nervous for first grade but we know she will do great. She is such a smart girl and really loves to learn. We love you Aubrey!!

Lacey broke her leg!!

We took a trip to visit Grandma Lisa in Lehi, Utah. We got there Friday night and while jumping on the trampoline Saturday night she broke her leg it wasn't a complete break it was more of a bend, but she still had to get a coll pink cast. One more week of the cast then she can take it off. The fun never ends with her!!

The other day Aubrey asked to use the scissors to cut something out, then Lacey wanting to be like her big sister needed to use them also. Forgetting they had them I left to go to the gym and left them home with Jeremy and the scissors. I came home and noticed Lacey apparently Jeremy had taken the scissors away but didn't notice her missing hair. So we now have to cut it pretty short to make it all even when we do I will post pictures of her new do. I guess it was just a matter of time before this happened to at least one of them.
